In 2022, NYCxDESIGN celebrated its 10th anniversary, transforming New York City into a vibrant hub of innovative design. This milestone event, founded in 2013 as a City-led initiative, underscored the city’s role as a global design capital. It brought together an array of designers, manufacturers, artists, and makers who shared their work on an international stage. The festival featured a diverse lineup of events, including exhibits, trade shows, talks, and tours, which drew hundreds of thousands of design enthusiasts from around the globe, further solidifying New York's reputation as a leading center for design excellence.

Atizay’s Successful Pop-Up Shop at NYCxDESIGN’s Festival

During this festival, Atizay hosted a successful week-long pop-up shop that celebrated the talented artists represented on Atizay Shop. The event ran concurrently with NYCxDESIGN and offered festival-goers a unique opportunity to view and purchase selected prints. This initiative not only highlighted exceptional Black visual artistry but also emphasized the importance of creativity and community within the design industry. Attendees were able to engage directly with some of the artists and witness firsthand the innovative works that are shaping the future of visual arts. The pop-up shop was a testament to Atizay's commitment to supporting and showcasing diverse artistic voices in the global design arena.
